The Praise and Worship ministry at Cornerstone Ministries is about ministry unto the Lord first. We do not want to just gather and sing mere songs, we want our hearts engaged to His. Our goal, before every set, before every song every sung, is this one goal: that Jesus will get the glory. "Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel." (Psalms 22:3) We desire to cultivate an atmosphere of praise, because where there is praise there Jesus is enthroned. Our praises create a throne for Jesus to sit on, and we get the beautiful privilege of hosting His throne.
My vision for the ministry is cultivating a safe place for His presence to dwell so that He can have room to be Himself. We love the presence of God because His presence is an invitation to be closer to Him. Where His presence is, you can be sure that amazing things can happen, whether it be physical healing or emotional healing. All I desire is for this ministry to be able to make space for His presence not just on stage, but I desire for all the congregation's personal lives as well.
1. The Gospel - Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
2. The Presence - Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them."
3. Family - Romans 12:5 "So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another."
